Originally from Namibia, Henk completed his tertiary studies in Bloemfontein, South Africa at the Central University of Technology, obtaining his National Diploma (NDIP) in Building.

On moving back to Namibia, Henk obtained more than 12 years of experience in Quantity Surveying. Henk’s consulting duties involved feasibility studies, preliminary estimating, developing bills of quantities, tender/bid preparation, contract administration, cost engineering and reporting, final accounts, acting as project principal agent and the management of employee teams.

Henk has been involved in various projects in the construction sector such as the construction of medical facilities i.e. hospitals, clinics, specialized facilities such as cardiac centers and oncology facilities, housing and medical staff accommodation, industrial, commercial, housing, mining and educational facility projects.

Henk joined MKA in October 2022 and has been primarily involved in Course of Construction and Property Loss claims. Areas of expertise include the industrial, medical, residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors and he has a combined track record of more than 14 years’ experience in the construction industry.

Henk obtained his Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation from the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors in 2019.
